Spring is in the air and now is a good time to visit with all the family so you can monitor progress throughout the Spring.

Beautiful house and gardens , drove an hour to get here with children and grandchildren for a day out and lunch One cafe closed and the other the other ran out of all hot food and sandwiches .. only cakes ( excuses about short staff busy weekend and deliveries doesn’t really cut it) Really disappointed as we had to leave to go and get lunch somewhere else Trying to be supportive of National trust and bringing in money from the public .. but it’s more they disappointing and falls short when we’ve paid £45 ..

Beautiful house and neat gardens. Unfortunately house still not open to public and it is taking a long time to do so. Tea shop basic choices , with limited cakes

Although not as glorious a place as it once was say back in the 1980-90’s when jointly run by two local education authorities it is gradually making headway and will continue to do so under ownership of the National Trust and particularly where the public frequent its potentially wonderful Italianate gardens, majestic lawns and waterways and of course eventually the grand house once it has painstakingly being refurbished. Well worth a visit.

Lovely gardens to walk around and a nice cafe to have a snack at when your legs are tired

Amazing place. The gardens are some of the best I've ever seen. Every corner you turn you find something new. Just beautiful

House is being restored and the grounds aren’t particularly big. Would like to go back in the summer to see the garden in full bloom as a lot of it was dead this time of year

Really lovely gardens and it takes a long time to walk around all of them. The café is a nice, standard National Trust offering. I'll be adding another star when the house itself is re-opened.

Lovely little gem of a place! Even in winter, it was great to walk around, excited to come back in summer and see everything in full bloom 🌻🌲 ((cafe served lovely coffee, but food is a tad pricey, imo!))

Love visiting here even on a damp dreary day it lifts your spirits. I just wish NT would update app so that membership cards can be downloaded into phone wallet.

Had a lovely morning walking around Dyffryn Garden altogether it was only 12th of January there was lots to see. If you have children there are two play park and lots of lovely grounds for them to run around. The house was not open.

It says open but I turned up to see the closed sign today. Was hoping to buy a present for our daughter, that’s a shame but the weather plays its part.

Good walk around the gardens, all 'sleeping' at this time of year, and look at the second hand books. Shame that we couldn't go inside house itself.
